I spent YEARS trying to earn the right to love my body. Maybe when my thighs were smaller. Maybe when I was tanner. Maybe when everything looked a little more… “perfect.” Meanwhile, my actual life was happening. 💗 The friendships all over the world. The incredible adventures. The belly laughs. The heartbreaks. The hard earned accomplishments. The completely ordinary Tuesday afternoons I’ll someday wish I could have back. And somewhere around 40, the math stopped mathing. The cost of waiting to love myself became way too damn high. Do the old stories still show up? Absolutely. On the daily. But I’m learning that loving myself doesn’t mean finally deciding every part of me is perfect. It means deciding none of it has to be perfect to belong to me. The pale skin. The cellulite. The weird back-of-the-knee sitch 😂 The whole beautiful, lived-in package. Because this body hasn’t just been something to look at. It has carried me through an absolutely incredible life. And I don’t want to miss another minute of that life standing on the sidelines criticizing the outfit—or the woman wearing it. So wear the shorts. Wear the bold color. Take the picture. Get in the pool. Go live your freaking life. Byyyyeeeee, stories!!! 👋💗 This is what The You Reveal is really about: less fixing yourself, more revealing yourself. ✨ Dressing from the inside out. #TheYouReveal #DressingFromTheInsideOut #BodyConfidence #AuthenticStyle #SelfExpression
